This is what the guests who have stayed in the apartments of Casale Galati said of our hospitality.
My family spent five nights at Casale Galati at the end of June 2008, and we would highly recommend the property to other travellers.
Enrico, the owner, truly earns the title of "host". When, arriving around midnight, we managed to get completely lost; Enrico cheerfully drove out and "rescued" us. (If you decide to go, you need a car, and it is definitely worth doing some research on Google Maps pre-arrival. Sciacca does not possess a surplus of road signs! ). He also provided us with plenty of information about local beaches, sights and history. On a couple of mornings he dropped by with bowls of fresh produce from the groves and orchards that surround the building.
The property itself is spacious, spotlessly clean and comfortable. It is about five minutes by car down the mountain to the outskirts of downtown Sciacca. There are several good beaches within a half hour drive. If you want to be within walking distance of nightclubs and restaurants, this may not be the right location for you. But for peace and quiet, and spectacular views out over the valley, it's hard to beat

Sciacca last week. We really enjoyed ourselves. I realised when on the plane
that I left some chocolate in the fridge! Sorry about that - I hope someone

It's ten days now since we left your house but we just wanted to say how much we enjoyed staying there for those eight nights at the end of September. We loved the peace and quiet yet the easy access to all those interesting places nearby - and by the end of our stay we had even worked out how to drive the car down to the fishing port and also to find a parking space in the town! Thanks too for your help and kindness in making us feel so established. We enjoyed our two nights in Palermo, busy and hectic but interesting.

Hello Enrico, This is just to say thank you again for the time we spent with you. We had a very enjoyable and restful visit and it was lovely to meet some of your friends and family too.
I hope the building work is not proving to be too stressful. Apologies for not emptying the refrigerator properly - we realised we had left things in it when we were half way to Palermo.

The owner speaks fluent English and he was so interesting to talk to; he gave us nice tips of life in Sicily and some food/wine to try. The room was roomy, nice and totally quiet because you are on the top of the hill surrounded by olive trees and winery
